Hand reared in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, produced from a fine blend of Korean and Australian componentry. Nature and adventure fused in his DNA, Michael No has been living in Japan since 2012, and running amok in Nikko since 2013. Immensely passionate about horses, yabusame (mounted archery), dirt bikes, scuba diving, ice climbing and adventure and exploring Nikko back country.
After spending the better part of a decade in Nikko, Michael graciously decided with no pressure what so ever Wild in Nikko was born, to share his experiences for the benefit of travelers and for the greater good of all mankind.
This blog hopes to bring a different and very personal perspective of what Nikko is and has to offer, which many may be suprised is a lot more than the magnificent UNESCO recognised Tsohogu Shrine, Rinnoji Temple, and the splendid Kegon waterfalls it is famous for.
Stay tuned!
